A picture that touched my heart and changed my life

Werfel, a 6 year old orphan from Austria after being giver his first pair of new shoes by the American Red Cross. (1946)

I hope that Werfel is alive somewhere in the world now and is having a good life. His smile, his content and happiness with his new shoes changed my mood completely, made me happy in the midst of my depression.
